SNL's nocturnal guide
Bam is Seoul Night Life's leopard cat mascot: curious, independent and most at home after dark.
Why Bam fits SNL
Bam is inspired by the mainland leopard cat, Prionailurus bengalensis, a small wild cat found across much of Korea. Its nocturnal habits and independent nature made it a natural fit for a brand built around discovering Seoul at night.
He represents the side of SNL that is adventurous without being reckless, social without losing its individuality, and always curious about what is around the next corner.

One mascot, several moods

The real animal behind Bam
The leopard cat is widespread across South Korea, but its local habitat is affected by development and road deaths. Korea's Ministry of Environment protects it as Endangered Wildlife Class II.
Globally, the IUCN currently assesses the mainland leopard cat as Least Concern because of its wide range. That global category does not remove the need to protect local populations and habitats.
